Sand Dollar Cottage is the perfect romantic getaway cottage, featuring one bedroom and one bath. Located in the heart of Seaside within 200 yards of the historic Promenade Deck and just a few blocks from the downtown area, guests can experience the town on foot from this great location.

This ocean view cottage can accommodate up to three individuals and comes with a comfy queen bed as well as a sleeper sofa both located on the second floor. This home has recently undergone a complete renovation, and features a toasty fireplace, remodeled bathroom, and a full-sized kitchen complete with wine glasses. In addition to these amenities, guests can make full-use of the recently installed upstairs viewing windows to enjoy the coast in comfort. Having spent a long day at the beach visitors can relax and experience a pastel sunset while listening to the steady rhythm of the waves.

Lovely property

Staying in the cottage was fun! We loved the location and the size of the house. It met our family and pets needs. We had a few issues we comminicated with the owner and he handled immediately. It was a great expereience over Spring break!

great location

Less than a block to the beach and easy access to downtown Seaside. Good central location for exploring nearby parks. Comfortable house with lots of natural light. Even though the bedroom is upstairs, just a short flight of steps. Got to meet the owner, Jim, who was very friendly and accommodating.

Perfect Beach Bungalo

Exactly what we needed. A very convenient location steps from the beach. An easy walk into the heart of Seaside, yet removed enough to feel like you got away.

Great location...

I stayed here with my dog for our annual trip to the Oregon coast. It was a nice, cozy place to stay just a stones throw away from the beach. However, there are a few considerations. When I stayed here, there was no internet. Due to a communication mix up, I had to wait for maintenance for 2 hours. I was only there for 2 nights, so this happened on my only full day there. When maintenance got there, he called Century Link and they informed him that they were no longer providing internet service to that area. I'm not sure if the Dish tv was part of that but I could only get about 6 channels and 4 of them were the same. But this is something that couldn't be helped, so I'm not going to dwell on it. Just something to consider if they haven't found another internet provider. I have a dog and although convenient to access the beach, there was no grass for my dog to do his business. Not a deal breaker, but something else to consider. One last comment was about the bedroom. The bedroom is upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs, again, not a deal breaker but not very convenient. I found the bedroom to get really warm with the afternoon sun, so I left windows open at night. Because houses are so close, I was startled awake by someone dragging their luggage up a stairwell at almost midnight. There is literally only about 3 feet between the buildings. This is not a bad place to stay, depending on what's important to you.

Nice

Nice little spot close to the beach and downtown seaside. Pet friendly and clean. Would visit again. Pro-tip, Definitely listen to the instructions on parking, I’m glad I did. The driveway/parking is for small cars only. Our Prius was great and I’m glad I didn’t bring my truck 😆
