This is a beautiful, spacious, Sedona family home, with a private oasis of a garden with a lawn, fountains, fruit trees, and stunning red rock views. In a home custom built by Monty Wilson, this is unquestionably Sedona's best location. Enjoy the peace of Sedona in a quiet neighbourhood and have on foot access to Sedona's most extraordinary hiking; the spectacular uptown trailheads of Bryns Mesa, Cibola Pass, Jordan Pass, and many more.Yet there are also shops, cafes and restaurants within walking distance, including the historic shopping mecca of Tlaquepaque, the Hyatt Plaza, Los Abrigados resort with its fabulous pools and spa, L' Auberge Hotel and Amarra Resort all with great restaurants set on the creek. Oak creek emerges from the adjacent and beautiful Oak Creek Canyon, home to famous Slide Rock State Park and the Westfork trail.
For further exploration, Oak creek Canyon heads up north to Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon, which is and hour and a half away...You are also 35 minutes away from historic Jerome, and close to Meteor Crater, Sunset Crater, and Indian Ruins. Historic native american sites are open to the public within an hours drive- Tuzigoot National Monument, Montezumas Castle, Walnut Canyon and others.
Beautiful spacious home within walking distance to the adorable town of Sedona. We had six adults who stayed there for 10 days and we were so comfortable in the big open space, and wonderful kitchen. Hated leaving!
Great place for a family get together. Great location.
The location is great. Just 3 minute drive to Uptown Sedona where all restaurants and shops are. The home offers a spacious updated kitchen /bathrooms and nice layout. The home has a wonderful feel to it...good imprint from the owners. Justine is very responsive and accommodating. Our only issues where we don't have kids so 3 of the beds are meant mainly for children, no tv in master bedroom and carpets need a cleaning. But overall a nice convenient place to stay. We would recommend this to anyone thinking of coming to Sedona. Nice surprise was some views of the red rock mountains from living room and kitchen. Was a joy to wake up to each morning.
The neighborhood was nice , the garden was very peaceful and the layout of the house was perfect. The kitchen was wonderful to cook in (loved the big dining table). Could have used a bigger grill outside as it was hard to grill for 5 people. The beds were comfortable and plenty of room in the bedrooms although there was not much closet space except in the master. But, for the money I paid, I did not expect to have roaches in the bathrooms every night. There were also other bugs (I killed six in the first 3 days) in the Jack and Jill bathroom. Also, spiders in my granddaughters bed. My son also killed roaches and spiders in the master bath. I ran my hand between the cushions on the couch and a spider came out. I also saw a roach in the garage. Also, the recycle bins by the side of the house had been knocked over by pigs and my son had to go out a pick up the mess that wasn't even ours. The garbage can in the garage was so full when we got there on Friday, it was almost impossible to get anymore garbage in it until we put it out for pick-up on Monday.
I was raised in Texas so I know about roaches and bugs of all kinds. In order to keep them under control in a hot climate you have to exterminate on a regular basis.
We were a party of 4 adults and 2 children who had the pleasure of staying at this amazing property for our week long visit to Sedona. The house was impeccably clean when we arrived, the instructions that were provided by the owner were clear, concise and thorough, no unexpected issues at all.
The house has fantastic views of the red rocks from multiple rooms, and was completely stocked with anything you could possibly need. Very well appointed kitchen (except no filter coffee maker, just a French press which worked out fine!) with plenty of pots, pans, knives and a gas range for those who love to cook.
The location was close to the town so we were able to walk to pubs, restaurants and shopping, and then heading off in the other direction, there were amazing trails and vistas.
There was plenty of room for all 6 of us to cook, eat and relax together in the house, as well as a gorgeous garden with plenty of chairs for relaxing in the afternoon sun.
Anyone would be fortunate to secure this property for your Sedona visit!
