It's here...waiting for you.
Yellowbird was an amazing experience for my wife, three daughters (13,11,9) and myself. You will not believe the privacy and cleanliness of this property. The owners are some of the most responsive and friendly people we have ever met. My family enjoys the water and adventures and this vacation was exactly that experience. We loved is so much that we booked our return trip before we left. Thank you Kathy and Ahmed for sharing your beautiful island home with us!
Wonderful stay! so relaxed, careful, no stress week. Everything is provided, come with your flip flops and bathing suit and leave the hair dryer, make up and worries behind! The owners provide everything! So many games and toys inside and outside to play with the family. Just bring enough food for your whole stay as it is a private island and to get back to main land or Marco Island, shop and back again, will take a good half day of time. Totally worth it though. Highly recommended. We would love to go back again!
This is the first time to do a long vacation and to use vrbo to rent a beach house. We were highly impressed and thrilled with our experience. The pictures don't do the house justice it is beautiful and perfect for a secluded island getaway. The boat included in the rental is easy to use and well maintained. The house owners Kathy and Ahmed are amazing and ensure you have everything you need. The also are quick to respond to questions. I will definitely be recommending to family and friends.
I don't even know where to start! The house, wildlife, beach, ocean, views.... EVERYTHING WAS SPECTACULAR! The home has everything you could ever need, so don't over pack! Ahmed and Kathy were amazing and were just a phone call away for any and all questions or needs. We saw gopher turtles, iguanas, HUGE manta ray, Dolphins, manatees, baby sharks, sand dollars, starfish, the list is endless. It was like having a tropical island all to your self. Would we come back?? Absolutely without a doubt! Best vacation ever! If you're considering this home, stop considering it and book it! Trust me you won't regret it! Thanks Kathy and Ahmed for sharing your little piece of paradise!
This place is truly amazing! Quiet, serene and beautiful. The house has everything you would ever need. Just bring food and your flip flops and you are good to go! There was so much to do at the house that we ran out of time before we could experience everything. At the beach, the dolphins came up so close we could almost touch them. We loved the paddle boards and kayaks! The owners, Kathy and Ahmed were very attentive hosts. They are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. They saw to every minor detail and made sure our trip was memorable. We were sad to see our adventure come to end! Can't wait till next year! Yes, we have already booked our dates for next year!
I have spent 30 years with the military and also worked with the Department of State; so I have been fortunate enough to meet many terrific people. Over the past 10 years, I have also rented a number of beach houses around Florida to include the Keys, North Captiva, and Cayo Costa. My wife and I have found no people more amenable or helpful than Ahmed and Kathy. They will attend to your needs and make you feel like part of the family and not just anther customer. Ahmed is attentive and much like that fun uncle you had or wish you had while growing up. Kathy is extremely efficient and responsive. Together they are an unbeatable pair.
Unlike other rentals, the photos actually and accurately depict what you get. All rooms, furniture, appliances and beach equipment is first class. We were also there in mid June and the A/C worked fine with no complaints.
I've been shelling, fishing and swimming on many Florida beaches and could surpass this place. I've never seen so many shells in pristine condition. I caught snook off the beach and my wife literally swam with a dolphin.
No. I'm not related or being paid to write such a review. In fact, I really don't like writing and have never taken the time to write a review before. Yellowbird by the Sea is a first class operation.
