Hi there! We're Matt and Sarah, and we're thrilled to offer you a stay at SolMate, our cherished beach retreat. You'll fall in love with this property for its unique split layout, the friendly neighborhood vibes, our FREE 6 passenger golf cart, perfect saltwater pool (with optional heating), and its closeness to the beach!

The Heart of SolMate:

Our home is a delightful blend of a three-bedroom main house and a quaint two-bedroom carriage house, united by a large paved patio and our inviting pool. It's an ideal setup for any group dynamic looking for a serene escape to the sugar white sands of the Emerald Coast!

Step inside, and you'll feel the warmth of our farmhouse/country-themed interiors, blending seamlessly with the laid-back beach town atmosphere outside. Our place is all about cozy southern living – imagine relaxing on our charming front porch, away from the hustle but so close to the beach. Enjoy a rivaling game of foosball in the living room for the kids, or rocking away with your beverage of choice on the front porch.

We are always available for our guests anytime before and during your trip. It is highly encouraged to read our listing in detail for any questions about the space, location, and amenities. We ask, please, for NO text message communication as you will not receive a response. Our strong preference is communication directly through Airbnb so that we have all the details of your trip to make assisting you a breeze.

If you're a first time traveler, please use your guest portal for ease of access to your trip details & communication.

For more immediate needs and emergencies please place a phone call to Matthew (and be sure to know the logistics of your trip such as the dates and location). We can be reached most times of the day, but ask for no late night contact-we will do our absolute best to take care of any needs and questions as soon as they arise!

This beautiful beach house is a short two blocks from public beach access, as well as an equal distance to the heart of Destin where you can find plenty of entertainment, food, and shopping. This is in Crystal Beach, Destin voted the most beautiful beach in North America 4 years in a row.

You will be super close driving distance to anything you have planned or desire to do during your stay. We typically recommend taking an Uber as they are very popular in the area and always less expensive that a normal taxi. You can definitely take a short walk to the beach, and it is almost always easier than driving around looking for parking!

• SolMate is pet friendly! Just pay the $200 pet fee before check-in and you can bring up to 2 dogs.
• Golf cart is not available in group bookings 25y or younger.
• Pool heating pricing varies, inquire for rates. Please give us a 24-hour notice for pool heating so we can get it just right prior to your arrival.
• Check-in: After 4:00 PM
• Checkout: 9:00 AM
• Self check-in with keypad

CANCELLATIONS:
Cancellation fees will be charged as
follows: All cancellations will have a credit card processing fee
withheld from the refunded amount. This amount will vary
based on the total of your reservation total. Damage protection
insurance and travel insurance plus appropriate taxes are not
refundable. If the cancellation occurs 31 to 90 days prior to
the check in date, the Rental Deposit will be retained. If the
cancellation occurs 30 days prior to arrival, the full rental
amount will be retained. This is agreed to when booking our property, and is non-negotiable.
-Please plan your trip accordingly as we are located in Central Standard Time. Check in time is 4pm, and checkout time is 10am.
-No underage drinking or illegal activity.
-Checkout suggestions: Strip linens from beds used (not mattress protectors) and do not remake the beds, dishes loaded in dishwasher with provided detergent, and trash bagged and taken to appropriate cans. If checkout falls on Monday/Thursday evening, please take trash to curb.
-Golf Cart not permitted for student groups under age 25, and cannot be driven by anyone under age 25.
-Pool Heating is not included in your stay, please inquire for pricing as it varies based on season/length of trip.
-Checkout time is 9am, if you have stayed past this time you will be charged for an extra day & cleaning fee.
-Spring break/student groups (under age 25) must notify us BEFORE booking as additional requirements apply. All student guests must sign student agreement & bring $100 cash per person at time of check in for refundable security deposit.
-If police or local authorities are called and eviction is the necessary result, the nightly rate will be applied depending on the issue. Any law enforcement calls may result in loss of entire security deposit.
-We must be notified of a pet joining your trip before arrival. 2 dog maximum permitted, and $200 pet fee must be paid prior to check in. Pets permitted only if house trained. You are expected to clean up after your pet, or $50 fee will be assessed. Emotional Support Animals are subject to pet fee, ADA Registered Service Animals are the only animals exempt from this at any time. Impersonating an ADA Service animal is a crime in our state so we appreciate honesty in this matter.
-Private pool is used by registered guests only. No pets permitted in the pool or on furniture at any time. If the pool heater is tampered with security deposit is enforced.
-Any cleanup of bodily fluids of any kind in any location on the property (both indoors/outdoors) will result in loss of security deposit/additional cleaning & sanitation charges.
-Do not rearrange furniture in the home.
-We strongly recommend purchasing rental/travel insurance if something were to alter your trip, to provide you with your own peace of mind.
-Renter must promptly disclose any known or suspected issues with the home. Any issues found after checkout that were not disclosed, tenants may be held accountable & could potentially be a charge of security deposit.
-Any house rules violated is subject to loss of security deposit.
