An Easter Fair comes to the town each spring and features local wines, art, and children's activities, and the Rotary Art Show is usually held the same weekend. In June, nearly 8,000 people attend the Alexandra Truck Ute and Rod Show, which is free and includes demonstrations and a wood chopping competition. Another popular event in Alexandra is the Alexandra Christmas Carols held in December. A visitors centre can provide travellers with even more information on activities and events.
