Beautiful Sunny Skies And Sandy Beaches
The major feature of Austinmer is without a doubt Austinmer Beach. This beautiful beach has been a popular destination for holiday makers, day trippers and locals alike since the early 20th century. Lined with Norfolk Island pines and the shops of Lawrence Hargraves Drive, the beach also features two large rock pools. Austinmer Beach is patrolled from September to April. Surfing and fishing are popular pastimes on the beach.
There is another lesser-known beach called "Little Austi" by locals. However, the smaller beach is not patrolled.
