Lovely house with a bush view & easy walk to beach

4 of 5
A lovely house that backs right onto some bushland. Really quiet. Enjoyed sitting out on the deck of an evening listening to bush sounds. We saw 4 types of parrots, kookaburras, cockatoos and possums. Kids had a ball and loved the timber cubby house in the yard. House is an easy walk to the beach either via bush track or street. Narrawallee beach is patrolled and not too rough so ideal for kids. House was 3 bedrooms configured as 2 doubles, and 1 twin. Twin had two trundles so sleeps 4 in that room. House was typical 70s/80s style but more than adequate for our needs. We appreciated the two living spaces so we could set up kids with a DVD in lounge while adults were in the kitchen/dining/deck area. Only slight niggle was that previous occupants had obviously brought a dog and didn't clean up after it. Back yard was littered with doggy poos which we had to clean up on first day. Still, we loved the house and have booked it again next year.

Great place and view

4 of 5
This was an amazing location, close to the beach and quiet. The property did lack some of the basic necessities like, salt and pepper and fundermental toiletries (soap, spare toilet paper). That said, the property cooled and heated easily (naturally), the beds were comfortable (with plenty of extra pillows and blankets) and the kitchen was great. We'd visit again given the opportunity.
