Kingswood accommodation

Kingswood is 49 kilometres west of Sydney in the municipal area of Penrith, at the gateway to the Blue Mountains. It's within walking distance of the University of Western Sydney, a multi-campus higher learning institute ranked in the top 600 universities of the world.

Accommodation Enhanced By A Beautiful River

The beautiful Nepean River flowing through the district enhances Kingswood accommodation, as does the easy access to Sydney to its east by either car or public transport, and the world-famous Blue Mountains which has the Jenolan Caves to its west. No matter if you're a holidaymaker, or looking to rent Sydney accommodation in one of the fastest growing areas on the outskirts of the city, you'll be well pleased with a Kingswood holiday rental and what it has to offer. You can either catch a train into the city, or one to Katoomba high up in the Blue Mountains in the morning, and be back to dine out in a first-rate Penrith restaurant by nightfall.

Some Of The Things You Can Do From Your Kingswood Accommodation:

Visit the Museum of Fire. A unique fire fighting museum that takes you through fighting of fires through the ages. This is the largest of its kind in the country and it offers visitors a fun time as you learn what to do when confronted by a fire getting out of control in your presence.

Watch as they brew Sake right here in Australia for sale in Japan. Yes, it's true, and you can see it happening first hand at the Penrith Sake Brewery. Sake has been the traditional drink in Japan for the last 16 centuries and you can watch it being made from a special observation platform. You'll get to taste a sample and buy a bottle or two to take back to your Kingswood accommodation.

Visit the Sydney International Regatta Centre that's ranked in the world's top five rowing centres. It has a kayak and canoe course where the 2000 Olympic Games rowing competitions were held. The venue now where the annual Head of the River Regatta is held.

Cruise the gorgeous Nepean River on the Nepean Belle Paddlewheeler, or the Penrith Platypus Cruiser. Both offer floating restaurants that allows you to dine while cruising into the Blue Mountains National Park.

A trip into the Blue Mountains to visit the Three Sisters. A unique geographical rock formation that local Aboriginals claim were three tribal sisters who became stone. The Three Sisters keep changing their appearances throughout the day as the sunlight brings out constantly changing colours. They are floodlit at night which makes for spectacular viewing against the blackness of the night sky.

Kingswood, Where The City Meets The Bush

Sydney accommodation meets Blue Mountain accommodation at Penrith with Kingswood home rentals. An ideal place to visit Australia's largest city with all its attractions while at the same time get to share in the magic of the nearby Blue Mountains. You can do all this in your own home away from home without having to crowd into a more expensive hotel room.

We enjoyed our stay at The Stables. It had everything we needed including a place to leave our dog whilst we attended "Grandparents Day" in Sydney. Would recommend to anyone!
