See what one of our travellers has to say about Marcoola!
As the sunlight shone into my room I awoke with a feeling of excitement and wonder. I had arrived the evening before on a flight from chilly Melbourne into the Sunshine Coast. As I walked across the tarmac the warm air filled my senses. I was eager to discover my new abode for the next 10 days.
On waking I ventured to the window and looked out onto the palm filled gardens and looked longingly at the small neat pool. I quickly dressed and made my way out into a small pathway with the promise of a nearby beach. I crossed the road and made my way onto the path that led towards the beach. The sun was shining and its warmth radiated into my back. As I trudged through deep sand I stopped in absolute awe at the site that lay before me. Sparkling blue water and white luscious waves bouncing onto the crisp white sand.
Oh I was in heaven! My heart was beating fast and as I puffed my way down the sand dunes onto the beach I felt overwhelmed with excitement and delight at the glorious view before me. Marcoola Beach in all its sun filled glory.
I knew with certainty that my holiday was going to be hugely satisfying and healing for me. Ten days later I reluctantly boarded my flight back to the cold weather awaiting me down south. I was suntanned, serene and happy from such a wonderful holiday at Marcoola Beach.
