With a history that trails all the way back to 1797when George Bass was traveling through New South Wales on his way to Tasmania, Eden Wharf was originally named Snug Cove, as it offered a snug and secure setting to the shipping industry that made its way here.
The Wharf has a rich and diverse history that involves cattle, whaling and the journey it took to become the biggest fishing fleet in New South Wales. It’s now also a haven for cruise ships that come through the Wharf.
