Round Hill Accommodation

Queensland's Central Region is a popular holiday destination for many reasons. Choosing Round Hill holiday rentals over a hotel provides many advantages for travellers. Most rentals offer ocean or estuary views and are within minutes of water. Surrounded by lush landscapes, these rentals are warm and welcoming, just like home.

Why Choose Round Hill?

This small town is nestled between Gladstone and Bundaberg on the coast of the Coral Sea. Most rentals are a quick ride to the seashore where ample activities await. Bordered by Deepwater and Eurimbula National Parks, this location has no shortage of things to do.

Deepwater National Park

Just south of Round Hill this park offers wide, sandy beaches and freshwater streams flowing through coastal lowlands. There are no defined walking trails, but visitors are encouraged to walk along the access roads with caution. Fishing from the beach or along the creeks is permitted. Between January and April, thousands of turtle eggs hatch and the hatchlings begin making their way to the ocean. This is truly a wonder to behold.

Eurimbula National Park

This natural attraction offers an up close look at swamplands, heaths, and dunes. Visitors can picnic before setting out on a boating or fishing trip. Walking trails lead through the park and to lookouts like Ganooga lookout where guests can view the Munro Range, Bray Hill, and Bustard Bay.

Lake Mondurran

This popular fishing destination is prime territory for catching several types of freshwater fish such as Australian bass, Golden Perch, Saratoga, Barramundi, and Fork-Tailed Catfish.

Alice Springs Reptile Center

Over 100 reptile species call this sanctuary home. The elusive saltwater crocodile is sure to amaze viewers. Visitors learn about these reptiles' behaviors and lives from informative talks from their caretakers and an opportunity to feed and handle the reptiles are an option for the more daring guests.

Pynda Camel Tracks

These one-hour, three-hour, or overnight camel-back tours allows riders to view the outback from a completely different perspective. Riding through desert terrain and rugged outback brings the natural wonders of this countryside to the forefront. During riding it's not uncommon to see kangaroos, wallabies, and various types of birds. Riders will get the chance to hand feed their camel after the tour is over.

Why Choose a Rental?

Holiday rentals have so many advantages over hotels and choosing one for Central Region accommodation allows travellers to experience these benefits. Living in a home away from home for the duration of a trip fosters relaxation and quality family time. There aren't any interruptions from hotel staff or loud sounds from the room next door. Every person has a bed in separate living quarters ensuring a better night's sleep for all. Guests can cook their own meals and do their own laundry saving money over the services provided in hotels. Choosing a rental makes holiday living easier and more enjoyable.

Great value for money and an awesome location!

We were walking distance to the pub and all shops. We could bring the dogs and the house was great with everything you could need. Big enough for 4 adults and the doggies who absolutely loved climbing the cubbie house. We will be back. Thanks Anita
