Shenton Park Accommodation: Close To Many Attractions

Shenton Park is located within the City of Subiaco, just four kilometres west of the business district. It is considered a suburb of Perth. Shenton Park was named after George Shenton, the original owner of the land. Your Shenton park accommodation is centrally located. Access to everything in the Perth area and beyond is easy, either by public transportation or by car. The Shenton Park rail station services the area, which is on the Fremantle line located immediately to the west of the area.

Shenton Park is also close to Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital and King Edward Hospital. A short stroll to Shenton Park Village brings you to a supermarket, post office and drug store as well as a thriving local shopping and restaurant area. The train and bus routes are within walking distance and also a short walk to Subiaco. The Swan River is three kilometres away, the Cottelsoe Beach just five kilometres and Fremantle is just one kilometre away.

Shenton Park provides a quaint charm with its wide, leafy avenues and traditional tin-roofed 3-bedroom cottages. Many of these cottages have been renovated to reflect the original style, while others have been redesigned as modern townhouses.

Kings Park is within the City of Perth, just to the west of the central business district. Kings Park offers panoramic views of the Swan River and the Darling Range to the east. Located on Mount Eliza, the park overlooks the city, Perth Water and Melville Water. The Park is home to more than 80 species of birds and 300 native plant varieties.

Kings Park is the largest inner city park in the world and the most popular visitor destination in Western Australia. Visited by more than five million people every year, it became the first park to be designated for public use in Australia in 1872.

Aside from the tourist facilities offered in the park, it also contains a reservoir, the State War Memorial and the Royal Kings Park Tennis Club. The park roads are lined with trees and individual plaques dedicated to Western Australian service men and women who perished in World Wars I and II. September of every year brings the King Park Festival—Australia's largest wildflower show and exhibition.

The Perfect Beach Front Holiday Let

5 of 5
Can't speak highly enough of this property. It has genuine WOW factor when you first walk in. Immaculately presented, super clean, modern-contemporary feel, and large! Everything you'd expect to be present in a high-end holiday let was there. Including beach towels! The washer and drier were great for us with a young family and great to have car-parking in the basement as the beachfront got super-busy at weekends. We arrived in darkness so didn't get to see the view until morning. Beautiful. Even with the redevelopment work going on in Scarborough Beach! Perfectly located. Dealings with Bev, the owner, were hassle-free and all the arrangements for arrival / departure were straight-forward and worked well. She always replied very promptly. Some minor observations with regards kitchenware and cutlery, possibly some more required, especially if a larger number of people are looking to stop. If you plan to stay in and cook then things like a measuring jug, some more ovenware / trays and a few dish clothes or tea-towels would be good but that really is nit-picking in the extreme. We absolutely loved our time there and I'd say we'd probably look to stop here again in the future. Well worth the premium price. A stunning property. We just wish we'd been able to secure two weeks at Beach Break rather than just one week.
