Warwick Accommodation

Queensland's Darling Downs area is a longtime favorite holiday destination. Choosing Warwick holiday rentals instead of a hotel makes holiday living easier and less expensive. Many Warwick rentals are quaint cottages surrounded by landscaping and rose gardens. Parrots frequent the landscape and provide entertainment for guests.

Why Choose Warwick?

This small, rural town in fairly isolated, but near enough to larger cities to take a day trip. Located about 70 kilometres from Toowoomba and 100 kilometres from Brisbane, this town is just right for a scenic getaway.

Southern Downs Steam Railway

This attraction is a train lover's paradise. A restored Heritage C17 steamer brings users closer to steam train history. Stroll through the locomotive sheds, workshops, and along the railways. The water tower and turntables have also been restored for visitor enjoyment. Inside, there's an immense collection of railway memorabilia.

Australian Rodeo Heritage Center

The history of rodeo goes a long way in Australia. This museum-type attraction follows the history and achievements of the Australian Professional Rodeo Association. Interactive exhibits and live demonstrations add depth to the history of this great organization. Visitors will enjoy the theatre productions and gift shop.

Main Range National Park

Rugged mountainous terrain dominates the landscape that many species of rare wildlife call home. Several endangered birds including the Eastern bristle bird, black-breasted button quail, and Albert's lyebird can be seen in the ancient forests of this park. Enjoy walking through the bush to Queen Mary Falls and The Steamers, popular natural wonders within this park. After walking, enjoy the scenic lookouts and panoramic views before returning to a picnic meal.

To add to the enjoyment of this park, visitors can participate in the Connect with Nature Program. Activities for adults and kids include guided tours, wildlife education, stage shows, and theatre presentations. Guided tours at night are also available.

Giraween National Park

This natural attraction is home to huge granite outcrops, angular tors, and boulders balanced in unbelievable ways. The wildflower displays in the spring give this park its name; Giraween means 'place of flowers.'

There are 17 kilometres of walking tracks in this park ranging from short, easy walks to full-day, challenging hikes. A short stroll along Bald Rock Creek allows guests to enjoy the wildflower displays without too much exertion. A day-long hike to the Pyramid, Balancing Rock, and Castle Rock provides a great workout and panoramic scenic views from various lookout points.

Holiday Living Made Easier

Choosing a holiday rental for Darling Downs accommodation makes getting away easier on everyone. Separate sleeping quarters allow for better resting at night. Laundry and cooking are less expensive because these tasks can be done in house. Privacy and serenity aren't compromised by hotel staff or obnoxious parties in the room next door. Enjoying a holiday is much easier in a rental.
