Great pet friendly beach house

4 of 5
This property is a great spot to take your pet and relax, close to the beach, shops and centre of Emu Park. Its within walking distance of everything and the yard is huge and has a low fence all around. There is so much to do in Emu Park and Yeppoon but its also a very quiet place to kick back and relax. The large deck with a beach view is perfect for chilling out.

Welcoming and Comfortable Stay

4 of 5
We stayed at Riverside Cottage with our 1yo Daughter and 6yo Kelpie X Shephard both on our forward leg from Townsville to Brisbane and then a week later on our return. Great that Riverside Cottage is completely pet friendly - after a 12hr drive and a quick neighbourhood walk on arrival, it was great that our dog could just curl up inside and relax. On both visits the cottage was clean, tidy and welcoming after our long drive. The cottage was complete with medium sized fridge, dishwasher, microwave and Oven. TV with perfect reception as well as WIFI also available, however we didn't use the wifi as we had a good Telstra 4G signal. Cottage is located within a short drive to Woolworths, Subway and city centre area. While the rear yard was very large, we personally didn't class it as dog friendly for our dog, for as we found one of the side fences to be a little short and our dog would have easily jumped it, so we just kept our dog leashed up when in the rear yard. Curb appeal was great and very inviting. If travelling with a young one, just be mindful of the double step down into the kitchen. Floor boards did creaked loudly in the living room area (we had it planned out we knew where to walk as not to make them creak and wake our daughter up). Living room couch also very worn and takes away from the cosy and inviting nature. Owner very quick to answer any communications and very professional. Overall, the property meet our expectations and great for a night or 2 stay. Solid 4 starts.
