Finding a Perfect Holiday Rental Apartment in India

When in India, be prepared to expect the unexpected. And probably that’s what will leave a lasting impression on your mind. There’s so much to experience in this incredible country, from bursts of colour to the vibrancy of festivities and celebration. With topography as diverse as its people, you will not be left asking for more. And your holiday home in India will give you a perfect base to witness it all. Awe-inspiring snowcapped mountain ranges in the North to intricate temples and pristine beaches in the South, India has much to explore. Monuments such as the Taj Mahal would make you want to fall in love again and again. Not surprisingly, many who visit this dazzling country are spellbound and find themselves held captive by its beauty.

Feeling Incredible in India

The states of Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka lie in the region of South India. You definitely would be surprised by the diversity of the region that is brought out through its contrasting landscapes. So you could either take a dip in one of the beaches of the Bay of Bengal or Indian Ocean or simply marvel the majestic mountain ranges of the Ghats. If you don’t mind large crowds, then you should visit the Cities of Bangalore, Madurai and Chennai that are popularly known for their temples. South India is a good bet if you want to have a beach holiday as it is home to some of the best beaches in the country.

To get a taste of culture and spirituality, visit North India. It is home to spectacular views, scenic locales and spiritual towns. Delhi, the capital of India also lies in this region and is the starting point for most holidays to North India. The Himalayan Landscapes are particularly mesmerizing and will hold you spellbound. The sacred river Ganges also flows through this region. North India is famous for its important monuments and enchanting palaces that can be easily explored from your holiday accommodation in India.

If you’re looking for a rejuvenating experience, then head to West India. The states of Gujarat, Maharashtra and Goa encompass the Western Region of India and offer you a range of interesting activities. Go lion spotting in a natural park or enjoy a quiet walk along a pristine beach. From Buddhist Caves to ornate temples, there’s definitely much to see. And if you’re visiting in the right time, you’d also get to celebrate in its vibrant local festivals.

If you want to take the road less travelled and explore a region few travelers venture to, then East India is a perfect option for you. The region is home to some of the last surviving indigenous tribes in India and understandably not easily accessible. But probably, that’s what makes this region all the more worthwhile visiting. The remoteness of the locations has ensured that their true beauty is preserved and you will surely find it difficult to absorb all the incredible sights of nature that you witness here. The diversity of people, culture and nature spread across this region make it tough to leave behind at the end of your holiday.

Choosing the Perfect Climate in India

Depending on the region you choose to visit or the holiday you wish to enjoy, you can choose from a variety of seasons. The best season to visit India would undoubtedly be between November and February when the temperatures are the lowest. The very wet season of monsoon begins by June and ends by July. For a warm or very hot holiday, visit between April and June when the temperatures can soar as high as 40 degrees Celsius.

Getting to India

If you’re planning a trip to India, it couldn’t come at better time. There are a number of budget airlines flying to all major cities of India. The metro cities of Mumbai (BOM), Delhi (DEL), Kolkata and Chennai (MAA) are connected to major cities across the world as well as to smaller towns in India. To get the best deals to India from the UK, you could try British Airways for discounted flight rates.

Our experience staying at this villa was awesome. Payal was a fabulous host and made sure everything was taken care of, in addition to her checking in with us everyday to make sure there were no issues. The only downside was that one day there was no electricity, but this was due to some work happening so there were power cuts in the entire village. Besides this, the villa is beautifully maintained and the decor is unique. You can tell that lots of love has gone into creating this artistic space! Also, the location of the villa is fab! There are many, many restaurants and bars nearby - even some within walking distance! The only thing I would say is that it needs a little bit more lighting, but maybe this is because we couldn’t find the switches and there was a short circuit. This is easily fixable though, and Payal was more than helpful! I would definitely recommend this and will be booking the same place for my next Goa trip! Thanks Payal for a lovely family experience and being so kind for early check-in and check-out!

Our stay was pleasant. Peaceful location, suitable for nature lover, less crowded. Transportation is a problem. Bike or self-driven car is a must bring. Market is 1.5 km far and not walkable distance. Suitable for large groups and families. Kitchen is fully equipped and cost saving. We enjoyed our stay. I stayed in other apartments in this complex too, I like this scenic Goan village.
