I loved staying at Kevin's apartment in our recent trip to Tokyo!
The apartment is very cosy and clean, it is really pleasant to stay there. We had everything we needed and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The apartment is very small but this is the standard in Tokyo so it wasn't a problem at all. The bedroom/living has a very big window and it was very pleasant to have the beautiful light in the morning and a nice view on the city. Kevin is a very good host: he kept regular, fast communication and provided us with lots of tips and suggestions and clear indications how to reach his place.
Finally, I also really liked the neighbourhood. The apartment is literally 2 min walk away from the Shin-Otsuka station, where you can take the Metro and be anywhere in the city in 30-45 min (considering the size of Tokyo, this is a very good time). There are a few nice restaurants and Izakayas along the main road and a very good bakery in front of the Shin-Otsuka station (entrance for trains to Ikebukuro), it was a bliss to buy fresh warm croissants in the morning there! There is also a park a few meters away, overall it was very nice to be in a quiet area and have a taste of everyday Tokyo life.
I can't recommend Kevin and his apartment enough, I will surely stay here again if I am back in the city!

Fue una muy bonita experiencia. Maki es un gran anfitrión; nos ayudó en todo lo que necesitamos. El departamento estaba limpio y muy bien equipado; tenía todo lo necesario para una estadía cómoda. Lo mejor de todo era la ubicación, ya que se encontraba en un barrio muy tranquilo, sin ruidos molestos y literalmente cerca de todo (tiendas de todo tipo y la estación de tren Komagome). Definitivamente volveremos.
