We had an amazing time at Floral Island! The island itself is very easy to get to from the Marina.
We had an amazing time at Floral Island! The island itself is very easy to get to from the Marina. We thought it would be further once we boarded the boat but it was surprisingly quick. Our hosts were very fun and incredibly gracious. Floral did an impromptu cooking class with us because we loved all the food so much and wanted to take a little piece home with us. The rooms have something to offer for those who want a luxury beach side experience without all the crowds. It was a perfect stay. The snorkeling reef is great and there is an abundance of fish, coral, and giant clams. Walking to the back of the island and checking out the little fishing village, taking out the canoe and watching the stars in the evening by the fire made for a perfect relaxing holiday.

I wanted to start my vacation learning about the Philippines and mainly the normal people to give me a proper perspective of how their lives really were. I spent 22 days and feel more a little more understanding of how their day to day existence.
