Ploy! I love your apartment! Ploy's apartment is situated slightly out of city central, so for tourists who just want to shop non-stop at the famous MBK and Siam Square, you need to be prepared to take the Skytrain (about 30 minutes from the moment you step out of the house and walk 5 minutes to the nearest train station), or travel 20 minutes by taxi (during off peak hours only, which can be easily hailed just outside the condominium). Hey! But if you just want to shop non-stop for the entire trip in MBK, there's no need to book any apartment, right? So, for travellers who want to enjoy family time and the Bangkokian experience, I strongly recommend Ploy's apartment. Sure, it is a condominium with a swimming pool (that is hardly crowded) and gym, but Bangkok city is fast developing into an advanced city, so living in Ploy's apartment certainly gives you a taste of the modern Bangkokians' lifestyle. There are other perks too: A nearby 7-11 and MaxValue convenient stores for most of your needs and late-night snacks (both 2-3 minutes walk from the apartment), a nearby shopping mall in case you have a more modern and varied list of to-buy items (about 7 minutes walk), and lots of street foods and street goods along the way to the nearby mall that will leave you with an unforgettable Bangkok experience! (You will need to walk into the smaller alleys to reach some of these street stalls.) In my opinion, travelling to Bangkok's places of interests from Ploy's apartment is pretty convenient. Some travellers prefer accommodation closer to or within city central to have better access to the places of interests. However, considering Bangkok's unpredictable road traffic conditions, taking a train to a nearby station and then walking (or taking a tuk-tuk within city central) a short distance to the destinations can often be a better option. Moreover, living just a little distance from city central means you can avoid the crowd on days when you really feel like having some personal space. (I know, this doesn't happen to all travellers.) As for the cleanliness, hygiene and security of the apartment, I have only one comment: Excellent! Even the roads and area outside the condominium is well-lit and safe. I've walked several times to the nearby convenience stores after midnight, and there were still people walking along the road doing late-night shopping like me. There is one last thing to mention: Ploy's apartment has 2 toilets equipped with shower facilities!...
