The Byron Bay International Film Festival is dedicated to cataloging and screening some of the world's most important films and documentaries. The festival hasn't released full details about 2014's event yet, but last year, over the course of a10-day period, this international film festival showed over 150 works from filmmakers from over 30 different countries.

Where Are The Films Screened For Byron Bay International Film Festival
The film screenings for the various films shown at the Byron Bay International Film Festival are held at a variety of venues all over Byron Bay. The main venue is the stage at the Byron Community Centre. This world-class venue seats hundreds of people and is transformed into a movie theatre for the event.
The Lismore Cinema, located on the corners of Keen and Zadoc Streets, is another main venue for the festival. This cinema features four movie screens that feature cinema cannica projection and Dolby Digital sound. Filmmakers and festival attendees will watch as films and documentaries are projected on the big screen for all to see.
Several satellite venues are used for this huge international film festival. These venues include The Regent in Murwillumbah, Sunset Cinema in Byron Bay and Pighouse Flicks in Byron Bay. All of these venues host multiple showings of films, documentaries and short films that have entered the film festival.
Ticket Information For Byron Bay International Film Festival
Tickets for the event are available for purchase at the official Byron Bay International Film Festival website or day-of at the venue. Tickets can be purchased for single showings of the films or in session packets. Early bird specials are currently running.
Session packets are available for multiple days throughout the international film festival. It will usually group several similar films together for one low price. The price of the session tickets can range in cost from $5-50 depending upon the venue, number of shows, popularity and length of the film.
