Tarra Festival 2015

An Easter festival that will surely entice, The Tarra Festival is a time for the community to share their talents and bring the district together. Held from 3 to 6 April 2015 in Yarram in Victoria, this event is one that must not be missed.

A Worthy Cause

The festival is organised by a team of volunteers who bring together schools, community organisations and groups to showcase performances and entertainment from throughout the region. Tarra Festival is well established and has run for over 25 years solely on community funding, donations and sponsorships.


Fun-Filled Program

Throughout the festival, visitors can enjoy roaming entertainment by talented street performances and spend the days strolling through the many local food stalls and listen to fantastic live music. For those looking to also attend a Good Friday or Easter Service, why not attend the oldest Church at Tarraville which combines all the churches of Yarram.

All visitors are welcome to attend. For those looking to relax and indulge, why not eat with the masses at Pancakes on the Park on Sunday and make a day of it by bringing the whole family to enjoy the festivities.

The Yarram district offers an exciting array of attractions, including the Tarra Bulga National Park which showcases fern-filled gullies, Mountain Ash and Myrtle Beach. For an historical adventure, go back in time and visit the Historic Yarram Courthouse which includes the refurbished Courthouse Gallery that features an arts and craft section.

Make sure you take the time out to just relax and take in this areas natural beauty with leisurely strolls through the bushlands or spend an afternoon in the sun with friends on the Yarram Golf Course. The Golf Course hosts lots of in-house events, competitions and a offers a superb dinning package. Wondering what to do on a Friday? Enjoy a newly released movie in the stunning historical surrounds of the Regent Theatre, which was built in 1928.

The Yarram Memorial Gardens are also a great place to spend a day, with water attractions, gardens and a playground. Yarram is well-known for its fishing, with easily accessible ramps as well as charter boats available on Port Albert with tackle and bait available all throughout the district.
