  • Tiny but rustic and gorgeous

It was pouring rain when we arrived and under those conditions vehicle access was slightly difficult however the cabin was warm, dry and had everything we needed. And gorgeous views. Small playground down the hill. Walked into town down the hill via some local shortcuts in the morning. No real sitting area to speak of inside, it was just too small but very cosy. Bunks for adults and kids. I wouldn't be wanting to cook a meal from scratch, no stove but there was a microwave, kettle, fridge & even a coffee machine (bring your own coffee). Kids thought they were sleeping in a cubby & loved it.

Wonderful! The owners are such nice people, the chalet is lovely, functional and pleasantly decorated. The farm across the street is a treat, with its diverse collection of animals. Many possible excursions by car, hikes, pictoresque minute French towns.
