The location is nice and easy to get to off the highway, literally a 3 minute drive once you come off the highway (coming south).
Rob and Meka texted us early on the day (11:45hrs) telling us our room was ready and what time were we going to get there so they could let us in early. (never had that happen at a hotel or motel).
Rob walked us thru the place showing us where everything was and how to access the pool and where to park. in our case right out side the gate to the fully fenced yard so our little dog has a place to run around in or in her case since shes 10 more like stroll around and sniff the place.
The place is a big single bed unit with decks on 3 sides and views from all of them to the sea and beyond, the decks are tilted concrete and covered, with a 4 seater outdoor setting (where we sat and had breakfast each morning).
The bed is a king and very comfy and with a set of draws and a free standing cupboard for hanging there was plenty of room for our clothes for the week.
There is a huge book shelf full of books (Jokes, fiction, travel, historical).
But we made the most of the free WiFi for emails etc.
The TV in the lounge area had Net Flicks and we ended up watching 7 or 8 movies and a whole slew of other TV series programs.
The weather was overcast for our stay so we didn't use the pool much other than a quick dip the day we got there as a work out the kinks swim after driving for several hours.
The beach is a 5 minute walk DOWN the hill so you have to walk back UP the hill. You can hear the waves breaking and crashing on the beach from the place. There is a major shopping center at Park Beach (Aldi, Woolworth, IGA, Big W, Target, etc) literally off the main highway just past the Big Banana where you can get anything you need, and in the center of Coffs retail area there is another shopping center (K Mart, Coles etc) and lots of fashion shops and quite a few op shops as well.
